Jakarta Commons Net implements the client side of many basic Internet
protocols. The purpose of the library is to provide fundamental protocol
access. 

Supported protocols are:

    * Telnet
    * TFTP
    * Finger
    * Whois
    * rexec/rcmd/rlogin
    * Time (rdate) and Daytime
